Why am I here?
Everyone asks at some point: Why am I here? What is God asking of me? Where will I be truly happy? Our Christian faith offers a bold and hopeful answer:

A vocation is not primarily about what you do, but who you are called to be. It is a deeply personal invitation from God to live love in a concrete and meaningful way. This page is for you if you are searching, wondering, or quietly sensing that God may be calling you to something more.
What Is a Vocation?
A vocation is God’s personal call to you – the place where your gifts, desires, and life story meet His loving plan.
As Pope Francis reminds us:
“When God calls, he says: You are important to me. I love you. I count on you.”
Discerning a vocation takes time, prayer, courage, and honesty. It is a journey meant to be lived step by step – and never alone.
Is God calling me?
There is no simple checklist or quick answer to this question. Vocational discernment is about listening with your heart and paying attention to what God is gently awakening within you.
God’s call usually does not arrive as a dramatic moment or sudden certainty. More often, it grows quietly through:
- a gentle but lasting attraction
- inner joy and deep peace
- desires that return again and again
- moments of prayer where you feel seen and loved
God does not rush. He leads patiently and personally.
